Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with diverse communication needs in a school-based setting near Owatonna, MN. This full-time assignment begins in late August 2026 and will continue through May 2027, offering a valuable chance to make a lasting impact throughout the academic year. Ideal candidates possess strong clinical skills in speech-language pathology, particularly within educational environments. Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply. This position may also include opportunities for teletherapy, fostering flexibility and broadening your experience.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active or eligible Minnesota SLP license Experience in pediatric and/or school-based SLP settings Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants and seasoned professionals Familiarity with delivering services both onsite and via teletherapy platforms Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions for students in PreK-12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with state and school requirements Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and staff to support student success Participate in team meetings, eligibility, and IEP conferences Incorporate current best practices for therapy, including use of teletherapy tools as needed This contract offers a robust school-year assignment within a supportive educational environment.
