Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for the 2026-2027 school year in a K-8 educational setting located in Lawn, TX. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with an estimated caseload of 50 students, primarily serving pediatric populations in a school environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' communication needs Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-Pediatrics, SLP-CFY) or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with school experience Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
