Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference this school year as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist providing essential services to students in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity runs from now through mid-June, supporting pediatric populations through on-site or teletherapy options in a school-based setting. Utilize your expertise to help children thrive academically, socially, and personally.
Skills and Experience:
Active SLP licensure in New Jersey, with ASHA CCCs or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Previous school-based or pediatric healthcare experience is highly valued Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards Comfort with collaborative, multidisciplinary team dynamics Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practice
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders Deliver therapy sessions in person or via secure teletherapy technology, based on school needs Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success Adapt strategies to address a broad spectrum of communication needs and disabilities Participate in professional development and remain current with best practices You'll be part of a supportive atmosphere, fostering skill development and meaningful progress for students.
