Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vibrant educational setting where your expertise as an SLP or SLPA can make a tangible impact! We're seeking a dedicated full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for a contract assignment spanning August 2026 through May 2027. Here, you'll support students from preschool through fifth grade, nurturing their communication skills and empowering them to thrive in and out of the classroom. You'll be surrounded by a supportive community of educators and families who value your clinical insight and creativity. This assignment offers the unique opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric caseload, engage in collaborative problem-solving, and witness transformative progress in young learners.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or current SLPA certification) Current or eligible for Missouri state licensure Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credentials considered Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for fostering growth and advocating for students' needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students grades PK-5 Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, and families to support student success Document progress towards IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings Provide direct therapy and consultative services in classroom and pull-out settings Adapt interventions to meet diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds
