Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact on students' lives by providing expert speech and language services in a school-based contract position for a dedicated SLP. This engaging opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse pediatric population, utilizing both traditional and teletherapy models to address a range of communication needs. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists to develop individualized treatment plans and foster communication skills essential for academic and social success. Creativity, compassion, and clinical acumen are essential as you serve students from various backgrounds and support them in unlocking their full potential.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; consideration for strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) Experience delivering therapy in schools or pediatric settings Comfort with teletherapy platforms and technology Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to create and implement effective, individualized education program (IEP) goalsKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement evidence-based therapy in alignment with each student's IEP Maintain ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and other professionals Utilize teletherapy and in-person services as needed to ensure student progress Document services and progress per district and professional standards Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams This contract position offers the flexibility to immerse yourself in a supportive educational environment while making a real difference.
