Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist working on a contract basis with a dedicated team. This opportunity allows you to deliver essential speech and language services to children in a supportive educational setting. Ideal candidates will have a passion for helping students achieve their communication goals and experience working in schools or with pediatric populations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in developing students' communication skills and supporting their educational success.
Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or healthcare environment Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans Knowledge of IEP processes and special education procedures is highly valuedResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school procedures Offer guidance and support to teachers and families regarding student communication needs Participate in meetings, case conferences, and professional development as required Adapt therapy goals and approaches based on student progress and needs Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every student can thrive If you're eager to work alongside caring professionals and enjoy making an impact on young learners, apply today to start your journey in a rewarding educational environment.
