Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your expertise in speech-language pathology to the next level as you impact young learners in an engaging educational setting. This contract opportunity focuses on supporting pre-school students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. Work alongside dedicated educators and help deliver compensatory speech services that foster communication growth and confidence.
Key details for this assignment:
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 8am-12pm Assignment duration: June 1st to July 2nd Your background and experience: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible Ohio licensure for SLP or eligibility to obtain Previous experience with pediatrics, school-based services, or healthcare settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to design and implement developmentally appropriate speech-language goals for pre-school students Primary responsibilities: Deliver direct therapy and compensatory services to pre-school children during ESY Develop individualized treatment plans addressing speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to enhance student progress Maintain accurate records in accordance with program requirements Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's needs This short-term position is ideal for SLPs seeking summer contract work while making a lasting difference during a critical time for student success.
