Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Extended School Year (ESY) services this summer. This position runs from July 6 through August 14 and offers a fulfilling way to make a positive impact in the lives of children in grades K-12. Work hours are 8:15 AM to 2:15 PM, providing ample time to focus on individualized care and communication goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings preferred Strong skills in evaluation, therapy, and progress monitoring for K-12 students Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech/language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload during ESY Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions Document progress, maintain up-to-date records, and participate in team meetings Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student success Contribute to the multidisciplinary team by offering professional insights and consultation This contract opportunity offers a meaningful summer position with a focused schedule, giving you the chance to hone your expertise in pediatric speech therapy while making a genuine difference.
