Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a rewarding position providing speech-language services to elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a full-time caseload across one to two school sites, allowing you to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant and supportive educational environment near Bristow, VA.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience supporting pediatric and elementary-aged students in a school setting Skills or interest in teletherapy as part of service delivery Strong communication, organization, and collaborative abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators and families Deliver direct and indirect therapy services, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed Monitor progress and document student outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines Attend multidisciplinary meetings and provide staff training when appropriate Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student success
