Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Speech-Language Pathologists - Contract Positions - East Orange, NJ Immediate openings are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students in a dynamic school setting located in East Orange, NJ. These contract roles focus on delivering quality speech and language services primarily to high school students, with some opportunities at the elementary and preschool levels. This is an onsite opportunity that offers a professional environment and the support of a collaborative team.

Caseload:
Primarily high school students; 1 position supports PreK-K; part-time role based in an elementary school

East Orange, NJ Qualifications:
NJ School Certification required for SLP practice in schools Credentials aligned with SLP requirements (CCC, Pediatrics, CFY preferred) Experience working with diverse student populations in educational settings Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for speech and language disorders Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators and families
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language impairments in students across designated grade levels Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings in compliance with district guidelines Maintain accurate records and progress notes for each caseload student Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school teams regarding student progress Participate in meetings and professional development to stay current with best practices
