Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' communication needs in a vibrant school setting! A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide maternity leave coverage, offering the chance to work closely with children and make a meaningful difference through collaboration, assessment, and intervention. This contract role is located near Greer, SC, serving the Campobello area. You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about pediatric speech therapy, interested in school-based practice, and eager to build positive relationships with students, families, and educators.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Valid ASHA certification or CFY supervision availability State licensure (or ability to obtain before start date) Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based settings preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Collaborative spirit and the ability to work well within a school team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to student needs Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records in compliance with school and legal standards Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff Provide direct therapy services to students across various grades Support students' growth with evidence-based interventions and strategies This full-time, contract assignment comes with competitive hourly pay between $40 and $50, giving you the opportunity to advance your expertise in a supportive educational environment while covering for a valued team member on maternity leave.
