Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with students in a supportive educational setting for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This engaging, full-time contract role is located near Newark, DE, and is perfect for professionals dedicated to helping children achieve communication milestones from early intervention through school age. Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) eager to launch their careers are encouraged to apply and make an impact within a collaborative school-based team.
Requirements and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP license in the state of practice, or the ability to obtain one prior to start SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or relevant pediatric/healthcare school-based SLP experience welcomed Strong commitment to the needs of children in educational settings Excellent communication and organizational skillsKey Responsibilities:
Provide evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to support each student's educational journey Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team initiatives Engage in ongoing professional learning to stay current with best practices As part of this dynamic role, you'll enjoy weekly W2 pay, a selection of health and life insurance plan options, CEU reimbursement for ongoing growth, and 401(k) plan options with company matching to build your future.
