Job Description

We are looking for a pediatric speech therapist to join our early start team! We provide in home therapy to children ages 0-3 years as part of the early start program. This is a per diem position and pay is based on direct service hours to the client. Scheduling is flexible and coordinated with families to be conducted 1:1 in the home or community environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to evaluate speech and language abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs. Provide speech therapy sessions focusing on improving communication skills and addressing any speech disorders. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals to support the child's development. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform therapy techniques and interventions. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with state and federal policies, ASHA,and the California board. Perform routine documentation of client performance, adjusting goals and treatment as needed and determine discharge care plans as appropriate. Maintain all records and patient privacy in compliance with regulations and job responsibilities. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques. 1-2 years experience in pediatric care and early intervention strategies is preferred but a strong candidate with less experience will be considered. Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Familiarity with anatomy and physiology relevant to speech and language development.

$67.00 - $70.00 per hour Ability to
