Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary-age students with your expertise in speech-language pathology. This full-time, contract-to-hire role is available for the 2026-2027 school year, spanning August through May, and serves one to two school sites near Manassas, VA. Collaborate with a dedicated educational team while working with a diverse caseload of elementary students in a supportive and structured environment that values your clinical skills and commitment to student growth.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Virginia state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure in Virginia Prior experience in a K-12 or pediatric setting, preferably in elementary schools Experience delivering therapy via teletherapy platforms is a plus Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary-aged students with varied speech and language needs Provide direct therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy as appropriate Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and necessary reports according to school guidelines Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure student success and goal achievement Attend IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach for comprehensive student support Serve as a resource on communication disorders for educational teams This contract-to-hire role offers the chance to develop professionally within a supportive educational community, creating meaningful impacts on students' academic and personal growth.
