Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist working onsite with a passionate educational team near Grass Valley, CA. You will play a meaningful role in the lives of approximately 55 Pre-K and elementary students, utilizing your clinical skills to help each child reach their communication and learning goals. Your expertise will support a diverse caseload, making a lasting impact in a supportive school environment with approximately 37.5 hours per week. With a focus on collaboration and student-centered care, you'll work alongside teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive, individualized services.
Qualifications:
Active California SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Previous experience with pediatric and/or school settings preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and develop targeted treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to Pre-K and elementary students Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports for caseload Support IEP development and participate in meetings as a key clinical partner Provide classroom strategies and training to promote student success Experience competitive weekly pay along with comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, plus access to a robust 401(k) retirement plan.
