Pediatrician Needed in Southwestern Virginia A long-standing regional medical center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician to join a supportive, collaborative pediatric team. This is a primarily outpatient position with light inpatient/nursery coverage (Level I, 35+ weeks). Highlights 4- or 5-day workweek with shared call: 1 week every 3rd week including nursery Daily patient volume: 15-25, approx. 30 births per year C-Section attendance not mandatory Strong pediatric support team including ARNP, OBGYN, and Family Medicine collaboration Epic EMR in place Academic affiliation and Internal Medicine Residents on site Compensation & Benefits Base salary starting at $220,000 (negotiable) + wRVU and $15,000 performance bonus Sign-on and relocation assistance 6 weeks PTO, $4,000 CME allowance Full medical, dental, vision, 403(b) with match, and student loan forgiveness Malpractice coverage with tail included Community Scenic Appalachian mountain region with hiking, biking, and outdoor recreation Affordable housing, family-friendly neighborhoods, and excellent schools with top 10 ranking Ability to buy land, COL 25% lower than Nation Close access to regional cities and airports Safe, community oriented, and welcoming This is a rare opportunity to practice comprehensive pediatrics in a flexible, supportive environment with excellent work-life balance.
