Peer Recovery Team Leader
  • 2nd Shift Help Create Safety, Stability, and Recovery For more than 100 years, Rescue Mission of Trenton has provided hope, recovery, and support to individuals and families in the Trenton community.
We are a nonprofit organization serving people experiencing homelessness, substance use disorders, and behavioral health challenges through shelter, recovery programs, and supportive services. Behavioral Health Center The Behavioral Health Center at Rescue Mission of Trenton is a state-licensed addiction treatment facility offering residential, halfway house, and outpatient services. We provide compassionate, recovery-focused care that helps individuals overcome substance use and co-occurring challenges while building skills for long-term stability and independence. Services include counseling, peer recovery support, medical and mental health care, medication-assisted treatment, recovery meetings, life skills, and employment readiness support. Position Summary The 2nd Shift Peer Recovery Team Leader supports evening operations during high-engagement hours. This role leads peer staff, facilitates recovery programming, supports client accountability, and helps maintain a structured, recovery-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a structured, recovery-focused residential environment
  • Oversee evening staff and client engagement activities
  • Facilitate recovery groups, life skills, and structured recreation
  • Coordinate AA, NA, and SMART Recovery participation
  • Support community integration and sponsorship connections
  • Address conflicts and behavioral concerns using peer-based approaches
  • Track client movement, curfew, and program compliance
  • Complete engagement notes and end-of-shift reporting Schedule & Pay

Hourly Rate:
