As part of our team, you assist individuals who are experiencing homelessness, helping them gain skills, access resources, and regain the confidence to succeed. Creating and maintaining trusting relationships with individuals our team engages with is a crucial part of this role. You will be responsible for assisting program participants in learning basic life skills, such as creating resumes, job interview skills, setting boundaries, and making healthcare appointments. Support, advocate, and assist clients with all barriers to their housing trajectory. As part of this program, you may be required to attend community court appointments, sit with clients through assessments, and go over treatment options. Our ideal candidate has lived experiences as a person engaged with mental health services or has survived severe addiction, or has worked with the homeless population in some capacity before. This role is for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:30am-6pm with some extra shifts possible up to 40 hours a week when coverage is needed.
