Position Summary The PODER Academy is looking for a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher for Kindergarten through 6th Grade. The employee will be a part of a winning team and utilize a successful model that calls for hard work and determination. The job of the Elementary Physical Education Teacher is to provide instruction for physical education with a focus on tennis with specific responsibilities for supervising students, delivering small group instruction consistent with teacher expectation regarding physical education. Qualifications Wyoming Teaching License; K-12 Physical Education Teacher Able to pass a background check Experience working with K-6 grade a plus Multiple Certifications/Endorsements a plus Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus Mission Alignment All teachers at PODER Academy must be fully aligned with our mission of academic excellence, high expectations, and preparing students for college and beyond . Teachers are expected to uphold rigorous instructional standards, maintain strong classroom culture, and commit to continuous professional growth.

Work Schedule Regular hours:

Willingness to work hard and maintain a schedule of 7:40 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday-Friday), with extended hours until 5:00 PM on Monday - Wednesday for clubs. Thursdays are designated for professional development sessions, held once or twice a month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Lunch:

One-hour uninterrupted lunch break provided daily Compensation & Salary Growth •Starting salary: $51,500 plus a signing bonus• Guaranteed salary increases: 7.5% annually for the first three years 5.5% annually for the subsequent three years 3.5% annually for the following three years Ongoing 2.5%-3.0% annual increases thereafter based on cost of living
