Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Per Diem Make an impact every day by empowering students and educators in a supportive school environment as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working per diem near Lansing, MI. Key Qualifications:
Certified as a BCBA with current, active credential Previous experience providing behavior analysis services in school or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with teachers, support staff, and administrators Capable of developing and implementing effective behavioral intervention plans Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments such as FBA/BIP and monitor data collection Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and design individualized behavioral intervention plans for students across various grade levels Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure plan fidelity and student success Deliver staff training and ongoing coaching regarding best practices in behavioral interventions and classroom management Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate behavioral data to track student progress and adapt interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and supporting the educational goals for each student Foster a positive, supportive learning atmosphere tailored to each child's strengths and needs
