Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Provide essential clinical pharmacy services as a per diem pharmacist in a small, 25-bed critical access hospital. This inpatient role supports PRN needs from June 22nd through June 26th, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Serve in a close-knit environment with census typically ranging from 8 to 15 patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders with accuracy and clinical judgment Monitor and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow efficiency Manage medication cart fills to maintain timely patient care Oversee Pyxis automated dispensing system operations for medication safety
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active and clear Kentucky pharmacist license Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records preferred Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
Location & Schedule:
