This role involves providing essential pharmacy services primarily for patients over the age of 50 in a close-knit rural community setting.

July 15th to July 31st

Shifts:

1st shift

Hours:

Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm; Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm No weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety Provide comprehensive patient counseling to support medication adherence and understanding Manage and collaborate with two skilled pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations Utilize the Liberty pharmacy system for daily workflow management Support a prescription volume averaging 120-130 scripts per day

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active and clear Texas pharmacist license is mandatory Previous community health or retail pharmacy experience is preferred Strong communication and patient interaction skills essential Ability to work independently in a rural setting
