This per diem opportunity offers coverage from May 26th to June 5th, working 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. The pharmacy serves clinic patients in-house, resulting in a low-volume environment supported by an experienced pharmacy technician proficient with the Pioneer software system.

Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and safely under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager. Counsel and advise patients regarding their medications and therapeutic regimens. Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in line with organizational protocols. Maintain stock levels and ensure proper record-keeping for controlled drugs and inventories. Address patient problems and clarify third-party insurance coverage issues promptly.

Desired Experience:

Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Illinois. Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience. Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is beneficial. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently in a low-volume pharmacy environment.
