Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A well-established group of independently owned and operated pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a skilled and reliable pharmacist to provide per diem support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage in primary retail pharmacy duties while potentially expanding into a part-time floater position, covering multiple locations within the group.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense and verify prescriptions with accuracy and compliance to regulations Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions Support daily pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain high standards of patient care Utilize PrimeRX software for prescription processing and inventory management (experience preferred)

Desired Qualifications:

Licensed pharmacist with current credentials valid in Georgia Prior retail pharmacy experience, preferably in a busy community setting Familiarity with PrimeRX software is a strong plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple sites

Schedule:

Per diem with initial coverage at one site, typically 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Potential to expand up to 30-35 hours per week as a floater covering a family of four pharmacies This position offers flexible scheduling within a supportive environment.
