Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A Per Diem pharmacist position is available to provide coverage on May 26th in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves working the 1st shift from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday, utilizing Pioneer software to support pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and safely under the supervision of the pharmacy manager. Counsel patients on their medications and ensure they understand their treatment regimens. Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies. Maintain stock levels, controlled drug records, and conduct inventory checks. Resolve patient issues, including clarifications on third-party insurance coverage.

Qualifications:

Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Ohio. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a retail pharmacy setting. Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing software (experience with Pioneer is a plus). Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
