Job Description:
SHIFT:
The scheduled days/hours can vary as it is an "as needed" role. They are generally 4 - 8 hour shifts scheduled primarily between 0700 - 1700 everyday Memorizes and recalls specific details from scripts, including emotions, behaviors, medical history, and disease signs/symptoms. Positively represents training departments through interpersonal connections with staff and professional presentation. Accepts and provides feedback from/to educators or designated instructors and applies it to case scenarios. Adapts to various scenarios comfortably and willingly. Participates in simulated patient scenarios by being physically examined. Provides periodic administrative support to the supervisor, including meeting/event minutes, preparing check requests and payment authorizations, preparing performance evaluations, program time and attendance, and filing and maintaining records. Other duties as assigned. Creates realistic scenario environments for all simulation and training activities. Interacts with staff involved in training exercises to enhance realism and team training. Portrays patients or participants with specific backgrounds, symptoms, and signs according to given scripts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Effective, professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate effectively to all levels of staff while participating in simulations, to include verbal, non-verbal and written [Required] Ability to practice elevated levels of confidentiality before, during, and after interactions with various learners [Required] Ability to follow exact instructions, ensuring simulation standardization and integrity. [Required] Ability to read and memorize scripts [Required] Proven ability to give and receive feedback to ensure training events meet or exceed expectations [Required] Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to address time-sensitive issues while meeting deadlines [Required] Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with a wide variety of individuals [Required] Basic experience with computer operation and desktop applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) [Required] Business administrative skills. [Preferred] Competence in and familiarity with theatrics. [Preferred] Knowledge of basic learning theory and/or simulation activities and modalities. [Preferred] Current knowledge of acute, hospital-based care, and national healthcare initiatives. [Preferred]

High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:

Work Experience:
1+ acting experience (formal, educational, or equivalent experience). [Preferred]
