Chicago Bubble Show is looking for energetic, reliable, and charismatic Princess Performers and Children's Entertainers to join our growing team. This is a highly interactive role that requires confidence, enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children. You will spend most of your time leading games, dancing, storytelling, crafts, sing-alongs, and creating unforgettable experiences for children and families. Most events take place on weekends throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel are required. Benefits $60-$85 per event hour depending on experience and role Flexible part-time schedule Training provided Opportunities to perform as Princesses, Fairytale Characters, Party Hosts, and Children's Entertainers Fun and rewarding work creating memorable experiences for children and families Responsibilities Perform as princess and fairytale characters at birthday parties, schools, libraries, camps, festivals, and community events Remain fully in character throughout performances Lead games, dancing, storytelling, sing-alongs, crafts, and interactive activities Create magical one-on-one moments with children Pose for photos with guests and families Engage confidently with children, parents, teachers, and event coordinators Maintain a fun, positive, and inclusive environment Set up, transport, and pack costumes, props, and performance materials Travel to event locations throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs Occasionally travel directly between multiple events on busy weekends Requirements Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license Weekend availability is required Willingness to travel throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs Strong communication and public speaking skills Friendly, outgoing, energetic personality Professional, dependable, and punctual Comfortable performing in costume Comfortable performing in front of groups of children and adults Ability to apply stage-appropriate makeup and maintain a polished appearance while in character Comfortable wearing and caring for professional character wigs Ability to learn character voices, mannerisms, and performance scripts Ability to improvise and adapt to unexpected situations Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload costumes, props, and event equipment Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 lbs Ability to remain active, standing, dancing, and interacting with children throughout events Comfortable participating in a brief video interview and audition process Ideal Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: Acting Theater Musical Theater Singing Dance Childcare Teaching Summer Camps Birthday Parties Character Entertainment Customer Service Previous experience is preferred but not required. Training is provided for the right candidate.
