PERFORMER Candle House Collective New York, IL US JOB DETAILS DESCRIPTION Award-winning theatrepany Candle House Collective (CHC) is seeking USA/Canada-based performers for
Lennox Mutual:
an interactive theatre epic, performed live via phone call for one audience member at a time. We're looking for emotionally adventurous, razor-sharp performers drawn to intimate audience interaction who are interested in bing part of the CHC ensemblemunity. Positions are paid, highly flexible, and fully remote/work-from-home.
ROLE:
Now casting multiple performers for the role of the
REPRESENTATIVE
(20-40, open gender/ethnicity), the voice of Lennox Mutual who guides each participant through their experience. Requires a strong and versatile voice, deep grasp of character, deft improvisatory skills, and singing ability. Those who can self-apany with an instrument (i.e. guitar, keyboard, uke) are especially encouraged to submit. Background in devised theatre or TTRPG "dungeon master"-ing is a plus.
PAY:
Starts at $20/hour for performances, with a guaranteed increase on contracted timeline after trial period. Performers receive a rehearsal stipend of $300 plus audience tips after performances.

SCHEDULING
Lennox Mutual is an ongoing installation with a rotating ensemble of performers. Scheduling is built collaboratively with each actor every two months around performer availability, making this a flexible opportunity for artists balancing other work. Actors can perform remotely from a quiet, private space at home.
