At GC Dance Company, we are more than just a dance studio, we are a supportive community that values strong relationships, positive mentorship, and creating a warm environment where dancers feel seen, encouraged, and inspired. We are looking for instructors who are passionate about dance education and committed to helping dancers grow both technically and personally. The ideal candidate is dependable, nurturing, professional, and able to work collaboratively with both staff and families. We value teachers who bring positive energy into the studio, communicate well with students and parents, and hold high standards for technique while maintaining an encouraging and supportive classroom environment. Duties Teaching engaging and age-appropriate ballet or tap classes Providing strong technical training and corrections in a positive way Creating a warm, encouraging, and structured classroom environment Working collaboratively with our teaching team Supporting studio events, performances, and recital preparation Building strong relationships with students and families Qualifications Proven experience in teaching ballet and or tap Strong background in choreography development and curriculum planning for diverse age groups including children, preschoolers, and adults. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education, special education needs, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with classroom experience in dance education setting; experience working with children or students with special needs is a plus. Skills in lesson planning that integrate creative movement with educational objectives; ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles.
Pay:
$20.00 - $60.00 per hour
