Job Description
Casting "The Girl in the White Kurti," a film that examines self-harm, discussions surrounding suicide and mental health through the perspective of a middle and high schooler in an Indian-American household. This film follows Madhuri, a confused, tired, and mentally drained young adult who is being followed by young Madhuri, a "mature for her age," hopeful and compassionate version of herself she has lost. This film is being created with festival circulation and long-term development in mind. Looking for collaborators who are excited by challenging material and who want to help build something visually striking, emotionally raw, and socially resonant.
