Job Description
A2 Dance Center is seeking an experienced Dance Director to lead our Frankfort program and launch and build a brand-new dance team from the ground up. We are dedicated to exceptional dance education that emphasizes technique, innovative choreography, and personal development in a supportive, team-driven environment. What you'll do:
- Establish and grow a new dance team: recruit dancers and set the vision, structure, and standards
- Choreograph and coordinate team routines for performances and competitions
- Oversee class scheduling, curriculum, and choreography across our programs (Creative Movement, Dance Fusion, Acro/Tumbling, and more)
- Mentor dancers and support teaching staff
- Uphold a strong culture of teamwork and high instructional standards What we're looking for:
- Extensive dance training and performance experience (ballet, jazz, lyrical)
- Prior teaching plus leadership or studio/team management experience
- Experience building or directing a dance or competition team strongly preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Reliability and a genuine passion for student growth
