Job Description

Job Summary Now hiring for our 2026/2027 dance season as well as our Summer Season 2026. Priority will be given to instructors who are available to teach during the SummerWe are seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Instructor and Choreographer to inspire students of all ages through the art of dance. In this dynamic role, you will develop engaging curricula, teach various dance styles, and craft captivating choreography for performances and classes. Your enthusiasm and expertise will foster a positive learning environment, encouraging creativity, discipline, and confidence among your students. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love of dance while shaping the next generation of performers and enthusiasts. Duties implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, including ballet, pom, tap, hip-hop, pre-school, tumbling and contemporary styles. Teach engaging dance classes that emphasize technique, expression, and enjoyment while maintaining a safe environment. Must be capable of meeting each child where they are as well as helping students achieve whatever dance goals they have Develop original choreography for performances, recitals, and special events that showcase students' talents. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies. Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress, supporting their growth. Experience • At least 5 years experience as a dancer. Competition experience is a plus but is not a requirement •Previous teaching experience as a dance teacher assistant or as a dance teacher is a plus, but not a requirement
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
