Job Description
Female Voice Instructor - ROC Star Academy South ROC Star Academy South is seeking an enthusiastic, talented, and dependable female voice instructor to join our growing team. We're looking for someone who loves working with students, has a passion for contemporary music, and enjoys helping young singers build confidence both on and off the stage. Founded by Elvio Fernandes, a member of the Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum rock band Daughtry and a hit songwriter, ROC Star Academy provides students with real-world music education and performance opportunities that go far beyond traditional lessons. Our students participate in live shows, band programs, recording projects, and special events throughout the year. Responsibilities Teach private voice lessons to students of various ages and skill levels Help students develop vocal technique, musicianship, stage presence, and confidence Prepare students for performances, showcases, and recitals Create a fun, positive, and encouraging learning environment Communicate effectively with parents and staff Qualifications Strong vocal abilities and knowledge of healthy singing technique Teaching experience preferred Comfortable teaching contemporary styles including pop, rock, country, musical theater, and singer-songwriter genres Dependable, professional, and enthusiastic Ability to connect with children, teens, and adults What We Offer Flexible part-time schedule Competitive hourly pay Consistent student roster Supportive team environment Opportunities to participate in performances, showcases, and special events The chance to make a lasting impact on the next generation of musicians If you love music, enjoy teaching, and want to inspire aspiring singers in a fun and professional environment, we'd love to hear from you.
