Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your love for dance and inspire students of all ages. This is a paid position that offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
Duties:
  • Develop and implement dance lesson plans based on various dance styles, such as ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary
  • Teach dance techniques, choreography, and routines to students of different skill levels
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their dance skills
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and productive learning environment
  • Plan and organize dance performances and recitals for students to showcase their talent
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate schedules and events
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with students in a dance or performing arts setting
  • Strong knowledge of dance techniques, styles, and terminology
  • Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate dance concepts to students of all ages
  • Experience in choreography and creating routines for performances
  • Familiarity with early childhood education principles is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students, parents, and staff members
Skills:
  • Proficiency in various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary
  • Classroom management skills to maintain discipline and create an engaging learning environment
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles to adapt teaching methods for different age groups
  • Ability to provide individualized attention and support to students based on their skill level
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions and provide feedback We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
