Job Description

Dance Instructor (Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro) We are seeking passionate, experienced dance instructors to join our team for the upcoming dance season. We're looking for educators who are committed to creating a positive, encouraging, and technically strong learning environment for dancers of all ages and levels. Responsibilities Teach weekly classes in one or more of the following styles: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary , and/or Acro (Acro certification preferred) Develop and lead lesson plans using the studio curriculum provided Break down technique, foundational skills, and style-specific movement in a clear and age-appropriate way Foster confidence, discipline, and growth in dancers at all skill levels Prepare students for our annual end-of-season recital in June Collaborate with fellow instructors and studio staff to maintain a supportive team environment Maintain professionalism in communication with students, parents, and staff Qualifications Previous dance teaching experience required Strong knowledge and technical training in at least one listed dance style Ability to teach dancers of all ages and skill levels, from beginner through advanced Ability to effectively explain and demonstrate technique, movement quality, and foundational skills Professional, dependable, personable, and team-oriented Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to commit to the full dance season through our end-of-year recital in June Preferred Qualifications Acro certification strongly preferred for Acro instructors Experience choreographing competitive dance routines is a plus Experience preparing dancers for performances, recitals, and/or competitions preferred What We're Looking For We're looking for instructors who bring both technical excellence and a genuine love for teaching.
