Flexible | Part-Time About La'Aurora La'Aurora is a high-impact nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through STEM, education, leadership, mentorship, entrepreneurship, workforce development, financial literacy, and the performing arts. We are seeking passionate and talented Hip-Hop Dance Interns who want to gain professional performance experience while making a meaningful impact in the community. Position Summary As a Hip-Hop Dance Intern, you will perform in community events, youth showcases, outreach programs, fundraising events, and special productions while serving as a positive role model for youth. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in performance, choreography, event production, leadership, and nonprofit arts programming. Responsibilities Perform hip-hop choreography at performances and community events. Attend rehearsals and learn choreography quickly. Represent La'Aurora professionally at all events. Encourage and inspire youth through dance and mentorship. Collaborate with instructors, choreographers, and fellow dancers. Assist with outreach events, showcases, and performances. Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and punctuality. Qualifications Passion for hip-hop dance and performing. Ability to learn choreography and work well in a team. Positive attitude and dependable attendance. Strong communication and professionalism. Experience in dance is preferred but not required. Must be able to pass a background check if working directly with youth. Benefits Professional performance experience. Community service and volunteer hours.
