Young Dancer Instructor (Ages 2-6),
YMCA Description:
The YMCA of Greater St Petersburg's Dance Academy is looking for qualified, reliable dance instructors for young dancer classes in ballet, tap & hip hop for beginner levels for our growing dance program. Y Dance Academy (YDA) is a large non-profit dance program offering classes in all genres, including an award winning competition team, technique classes, and a large end of year performance for all students. Students have the option of pursuing dance competitively or as a recreational passion. We will be creating the schedule for next season based on availability, including days/times/locations.
Requirements:
Instructors must have previous experience teaching a variety of dance genres to all age levels. References are required and videos of past work preferred. Part-time schedule with afternoon availability during the week. Program day/time may be flexible around candidates' schedules. All instructors teach technique classes as well as choreograph for the end of year performance. The YMCA offers opportunities for long term growth, benefits and competitive pay to the most qualified. Must be able to work independently, have excellent relationship building skills and a passion for teaching dance in a great work atmosphere. Locations:
The candidate will work at one of YMCA Greater St. Petersburg locations depending on schedule
Pay & Perks:
