We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hip Hop Dance Instructor to lead engaging classes that ignite creativity, boost confidence, and promote physical fitness. As a key member of our team, you will design innovative lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and motivate students of all ages to develop their dance skills while having fun. Develop and implement comprehensive Hip Hop dance curricula tailored to various skill levels and age groups, incorporating elements of choreography, rhythm, and style. Lead energetic group classes that emphasize technique, coordination, and self-expression while maintaining a lively and motivating atmosphere. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment conducive to learning and creativity. Provide personalized feedback and tutoring to help students improve their dance skills and build confidence. Incorporate multimedia tools such as photography or video recordings to enhance lessons and showcase student progress. Collaborate with colleagues to organize performances, showcases, or community events that highlight student achievements. Maintain organized lesson plans, attendance records, and progress reports in accordance with program standards. Design and choreograph original dances each concert season that reflect the show's themes, music choices, and artistic objectives. Must pass background check Proven experience in teaching Hip Hop dance or related styles such as street dance or breakdancing. Strong knowledge of choreography development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience working with children, teenagers, or adult learners in educational or recreational settings. Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners including those with special education needs or early childhood development requirements. Skills in lesson planning, classroom experience, and creating engaging activities that foster participation. Familiarity with other artistic disciplines such as theater or ballet is a plus for integrating creative movement concepts. Additional skills in photography, sewing (for costume or set design), cooking (for event planning), or childcare can enhance program offerings but are not required.
