Hip Hop Dance Teacher

Dance Teacher needed at Crosby Dance Academy! Looking for a Hip Hop Teacher on Wednesday evenings.

Job Responsibilities:

Create a positive and nurturing learning environment that inspires excellence and commitment to achieving goals. Stay up-to-date on new dance trends and training methods. Instruct students in proper, safe dance techniques in an effective and encouraging manner. Balance fun with rigor and passion. Choreograph 2 performance pieces for each class.

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 year studio teaching experience. Special interest in teaching young children. Ability to relate to, motivate, and energize students of all ages and skill levels. Comfortable with generating age appropriate choreographic material. Adequate knowledge of dance vocabulary and technique. Ability to work within the guidelines of a curriculum. Adequate knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology. BA Degree in Dance highly encouraged, but not required.
