Part Time Preschool Fitness Dance and Music Coach

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Stretch-n-Grow coaches visit preschools and daycares across Richmond, leading enrichment classes for kids ages 18 months to 5 years. Every coach must be able to teach our fitness program. Coaches who also bring dance or music experience can take on additional class types — which means more school slots and more hours. All lesson plans, music, equipment, and branded apparel are provided. You bring the energy, the warmth, and the reliability. Fitness

WHAT THE ROLE LOOKS LIKE

You will visit 2-4 preschools or daycares each week during morning hours, leading structured enrichment classes. You will set your own schedule based on available school slots. Once your route is set, it stays consistent — same schools, same kids, same mornings. Hours per week

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Fitness (required for all coaches) Enthusiasm for movement and active play with very young children Ability to lead structured, high-energy classes with clear cues and classroom management No formal fitness certification required — we provide full training Dance (add-on specialty) Background in dance of any style — formal training, recreational, or performance experience all welcome Comfortable teaching basic rhythm, movement, and creative expression to toddlers and preschoolers Dance experience often pairs naturally with music — both are a plus Music (add-on specialty) Some music background — instrument, vocal, music education, or general music knowledge Classes focus on singing, rhythm, and musical play — not formal instrument instruction Dance instructors with music exposure are often a great fit for this specialty

WHAT WE REQUIRE
