JOB DESCRIPTION POSITON
: Spring Musical - Pit Director
REPORTS TO
Musical Director and Director of Arts & Innovation
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience with directing ensembles 2. Experience with musical theatre preferred 3. Experience working in an educational setting
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Attend rehearsals and performances as planned 2. Collaborate with a team of colleagues on the selection of a musical title 3. Build a rehearsal calendar conducive to the needs of the production that aligns with the larger needs of the director and full cast 4. Anticipate and advocate for equipment needs 5. Attend production meetings and take direction from directors 6. Develop positive working relationships with students and staff
COMPENSATION
Category 3 stipend as determined by the TC contract ($6,546-$8,961 based on experience) 2026-2027
CALENDAR:
Rehearsals will start around the middle of February and run through the final performances (April 22-25, 2027). A more detailed calendar will be provided in the hiring process.
