Immediately Job Description Theatre Workshop Director, Burlington Educational Summer Theater
Description:
Choose music and scenes that are appropriate for the students Oversee musical and acting aspects Collaborate with the choreographer, counselors and other staff members Conduct rehearsals, including warm-ups and teaching music to cast. Ensure that there is adequate supervision of the students promote an environment based on working as an ensemble, taking creative risks, and having fun. Accompany rehearsals on the piano Produce a 30 minute workshop performance For students in grades 1-5 Production period: July 6

  • 1:30 Performances on each Friday Planning meetings before and after
Requirements:
Ability to play basic piano. Must have stamina to teach a large group of kids for 5 hours per day
