Worship Leader

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Worship Leader to guide our congregation in heartfelt praise and worship experiences. This vital role involves leading musical worship, fostering an atmosphere of spiritual connection, and encouraging active participation from the community. The Worship Leader will serve as a spiritual guide, mentor, and communicator, ensuring that worship services resonate deeply and uplift everyone involved. Responsibilities Lead engaging and Spirit-filled worship sessions that inspire congregation participation and spiritual growth Collaborate with pastors and ministry teams to plan worship services aligned with the church's vision and themes Select appropriate songs, and musical arrangements that enhance the message and foster a reverent atmosphere Mentor and develop volunteer musicians, singers, and technical team members to cultivate their talents and confidence Foster a welcoming environment through clear communication, encouragement, and team-building efforts Coordinate rehearsals to prepare for upcoming services ensuring musical excellence and unity Maintain the church's music resources, equipment, and song libraries with organization and care Experience Proven experience leading worship in a church or faith-based setting with demonstrated musical proficiency Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate volunteers and foster teamwork Excellent communication skills Experience mentoring or coaching musicians and singers to develop their skills Knowledge of contemporary worship music styles is preferred Ability to plan worship services collaboratively while maintaining flexibility for spontaneous moments This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, motivated by faith-driven service, and eager to cultivate a vibrant worship environment.
