08/23/2026 Marching Band Assistant Director-Band Camp Reports to Superintendent, Principal, and/or Supervisor of Fine & Performing Arts. In conjunction with the Director, responsibilities include support of the marching band program, including, but not limited to: Coordinate all planning and logistics including scheduling and transportation for band camp. Coordinate staffing and supervision during band camp. Design, direct, and instruction of high school band. Establish performance requirements, enforce academic requirements, and verify each student's eligibility to participate in band. Attend all days of band camp. Comply with federal and state laws, State Board of Education rules, and board policy. Coordinate with band booster club for activities during band camp. Ensure that programs are cost-effective and funds are managed wisely. Maintain current inventory of all fixed assets within department. Oversee process of cleaning, repairing, and storing all color guard equipment. Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students. Accompany and supervise students during duration of band camp. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
