08/23/2026 Marching Band Director-Band Camp Reports to Superintendent, Principal, and/or Supervisor of Fine & Performing Arts. In conjunction with the Director, responsibilities include support of the marching band program, including, but not limited to: Coordinate all planning and logistics including scheduling and transportation. Submit necessary documents for camp. Assign duties to all staff/chaperones. Coordinate staffing and supervision. Design, direct, and instruction of high school band. Establish performance requirements, enforce academic requirements, and verify each student's eligibility to participate in band. Comply with federal and state laws, State Board of Education rules, and board policy. Coordinate band booster club, and support band booster during camp preparation. Ensure that programs are cost-effective and funds are managed wisely. Maintain current inventory of all fixed assets within department. Oversee process of cleaning, repairing, and storing all color guard equipment. Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students. Accompany and supervise students on out-of-town trips. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Other duties as assigned
