Worship Director

Berachah Church is a Bible believing, non-denominational, intergenerational, and multicultural church that is strategically located on the county line of Northeast Philadelphia and Montgomery County. This location allows us a rich and beautiful mixture of ministry reaching both city and suburban life. God has revitalized Berachah from a church of 30 people to over 200. A large part of this has been a focus on consistent preaching and prayer of Gods Word as well as continual community outreach and partnering with our local public schools. The Worship Pastor will bring credible servant leadership to our Church in both Worship and Community Life. For worship we want to build welcoming and vibrant worship that is centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ. They will provide Christ centered direction to the ministries by being a visionary leader. They will collaborate with the Lead Pastor to equip the church body in corporate worship and shepherding the body of Christ and reaching the neighborhoods and nations for Christ.

Qualifications:

A mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ that is clearly exhibited in the Pastor s life. A love for people both inside and outside of the church. Proficiency in leading worship with a strong vocal ability. Capability of leading with an instrument is essential. Confidence in speaking and praying is desired. Recruit and equip volunteers Able to provide servant leadership, vision, and zeal for Berachah Church in the area of worship ministries that is in line with the overall vision, purpose, and mission of the church. Able to develop and integrate various worship team members, coming from varying musical backgrounds. Knowledge of livestreaming and sound engineering. Responsibilities Preparation, planning, musical and creative brainstorming, directing, and overseeing the ministry teams involved in the weekly Sunday gatherings. Shepherding Berachah s musical and tech teams on a weekly basis. Developing and mentoring individuals and teams in their knowledge of their instruments, vocals, sound, and technical capabilities. Overseeing all aspects of the Sunday Worship Service - Production, Musical Worship, Audio/Visuals, Stage Design, etc. Overseeing worship at additional Berachah gatherings throughout the year. Relationships The Worship Director will report directly to the Lead Pastor, participate weekly in Sunday worship services, weekly staff meetings, and prayer meetings The Worship Director will practice and uphold Berachah Staff Core Values and must be a good team player.
