POSITION TITLE:
Theatre Assistant Technical Director (Job Description)
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 to 3 years of experience working in public education extra-curricular programs/events in a high school/middle school environment. With the Director, developing the complete list of required props and assuming primary responsibility for building/procurement and return, disposal, or storage (as appropriate) of all props for each show. Supervising any set building/painting volunteers in the absence of the Scenic Director (authorized to provide building access). Knowledge and ability to instruct students of different age groups and backgrounds, both individuals and groups, considering various modalities and methods.
