REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree; Valid Texas Teacher's Certificate or enrollment in an Alternative Certification Program or equivalent.
PREFERRED
Knowledge of State and UIL policies governing music education. Knowledge of State and UIL policies governing music education. The Assistant Band Director
  • Percussion will teach ensemble classes, conduct a Concert Band and be held accountable for assigned instructional duties. The Assistant Band Director
  • Percussion will assist the Head Band Director with extra-curricular events including concerts, football games, pep rallies, parades, TMEA and UIL activities. The Assistant Band Director
  • Percussion will assist the Head Band Director with all paperwork as well as instructional duties as assigned to provide the best music education possible for the students of BISD.
