Job Description

This is a part-time, on-call, hourly position. Overview The Substitute Piano Accompanist supports our Eurythmy Teachers by playing pieces provided by the teachers to support sequential movement routines 1st through 8th grades. The Pianist will be accompanying up to 17 eurythmy sessions per week and possible rehearsals and evening performances (as-needed).
Qualifications:
Classical repertoire fluency, intermediate - advanced playing level Good site reading skills is helpful for medium level selections Reliable, on-time Ability to attend closely to teacher direction Occasional evening availability is preferred
Benefits & Compensation Pay Rate:
$45 per hour This is a part-time, as-needed, hourly position. This position carries no benefits other than those available through the city of San Francisco. This position does not continue through the Summer Break. Holidays are unpaid. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Be able to occasionally lift to 30 lbs. Work intermittently in outside weather conditions, including heat and cold Regularly sitting or standing 4 hours
