Worship Musician

Job Overview Chapel Music Services Provides music services for the Protestant Music Service at the Vandenberg Air Force Base. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: playing, singing, and practicing music for worship in collaboration with the Lead Chaplin. Requirement s 1 or more years of college in music performance (or related field), or equivalent years of experience leading music in a chapel/church setting. experience and knowledge playing contemporary worship music. Rehearsals and Worship Services The contractor shall perform at services every week on Sunday, as well as participate in weekly rehearsals. All rehearsals and worship services will take place at the Vandenberg AFB. The contractor shall be notified at least twenty-four hours in advance of a projected move.

Music Program Review Expected hours:

2 - 4 per week $60.00 per unit: 1 Practice & 1 Performance unit per week (52) Worship services (52) Weekly rehearsals (5) Special service performances a. Christmas Eve b. Good Friday c. Special Praise nights (as scheduled by the Protestant Parish Paster and coordinated at least 14 days in advance) (5) Special service rehearsals (114) TOTAL units (contractor shall not exceed)
